Most of you who know me know two things about me... I HATE WRITING and I LOVE ORPHANS, ADOPTION, AND ORPHANAGES.
So why does one create a blog when they don't like to write? Well to inform others and ask them to commit to take an adventure with me.
This past fall I picked up a book called Kisses From Katie. If you have not read it I suggest you go pick up a copy. This girl rocked my world. After reading her story of how she moved to Africa to teach for one year and then she ended up adopting 13 girls, I realized I wanted to meet this girl. Her commitment to the Lord and His plan is remarkable. So then when I found out there is an organization that visited various orphanages and visited Katie in Uganda I decided that this had to be my chance to fulfill a few lifelong dreams.
So I am asking you to commit to praying with me. The trip could happen either in April or October. My vote is for April. But to pull it off it will take God. ( I am still waiting on acceptance into the trip and I have to get a new passport) I want to make sure this is His will and not my own. So I am asking you to pray friends.
